Wir freuen uns sehr, ab 2024 mit Miudinho Forró Berlin eine neue regelmäßige Kooperation zu starten und einmal im Monat eine Forró-Party mit Livemusik zu hosten. Miudinho Forró Berlin ist ein Kulturprojekt mit dem Ziel, die brasilianische Kultur in Berlin zu fördern. Miudinho schafft einen Raum, in dem sich Menschen über die Sprache der Musik und des Tanzes miteinander verbinden können und organisiert seit 2016 regelmäßig Partys, Kurse und Workshops mit Schwerpunkt auf Forró und Samba de Gafieira.

Der bahianische Musiker, Komponist und Akkordeonspieler Zeu Azevedo ist ein Vorreiter des Forró-Rhythmus in Europa. Vor 15 Jahren reiste er mit Koffer, Flaschenkürbis und Ziehharmonika nach London. Seitdem ist er Teil des wöchentlichen Konzertplans der Stadt und spielt seine Musik in den angesagtesten Nachtclubs Londons. Als Gewinner der Revelation Trophy beim Festival in Itaúnas (2010) wurde Zeu 2011 auch mit dem brasilianischen Grammy Award als bester Sänger ausgezeichnet.

Zeu Azevedo ist heute der größte Vertreter des Forró auf dem alten Kontinent und spielte schon in ganz Europa sowie Russland und den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. So verbreitet der Künstler mit seiner Musik Forró und die Kultur Nordostbrasiliens in der ganzen Welt.

Forró launch party on January 20th with Dj Baião and live music with Zeu Azevedo from London!

We are very pleased to start in 2024 a new regular collaboration with Miudinho Forró Berlin and to host a Forró party with live music once a month. Miudinho Forró Berlin is a cultural project with the aim of promoting Brazilian culture in Berlin. Miudinho creates a space where people can connect through the language of music and dance and has been organizing regular parties, courses and workshops with a focus on Forró and Samba de Gafieira since 2016.

The Bahian musician, composer and accordion player Zeu Azevedo is a pioneer of the Forró rhythm in Europe. 15 years ago he traveled to London with a suitcase, gourd and an accordion. Since then he has been part of the city’s weekly concert schedule, playing his music in London’s hottest nightclubs. Winner of the Revelation Trophy at the Festival in Itaúnas (2010), Zeu was also awarded the Brazilian Grammy Award for Best Singer in 2011.

Zeu Azevedo is now the most important representative of Forró on the Old Continent and has played throughout Europe as well as Russia and the United Arab Emirates. With his music, the artist spreads Forró and the culture of northeast Brazil throughout the world.
